“Parsing PowerPoint Project” error message when importing PPT

Hi, When try to import a PPT I am getting the pop-up message “Parsing PowerPoint Project” which is then followed by a pop-up message “Unable to import Microsoft PowerPoint presentation the file maybe damaged” I get the same message with different PPTs and also new PPTs.
