Weve decided to add some simple text descriptors in our admin section that will allow a course creator to identify the content authors, the date originally created, update date, summary text about the course, and notes about the types of changes that were made. Im sure it matters to them. Thanks to Janet for bringing this issue up!

Im a linear reader in recovery and have been actively learning how to skim books and not feel guilty about it. Although Im not in active instructional design mode for any projects right now, I did jot a bunch of ideas. Then I started jumping ahead and reading the summary of each chapter. Great summary of ideas. Belatedly, Im thinking that there are relatively easy ways to enable learners to have cake or to eat it as they see fit. Now, maybe Im just jaded and want to get to an approved storyboard. Maybe its the fact that Im recovering from pneumonia and just dont have the energy to fight the fight. The old theory: Up until now, Ive gone along with that concept of learning styles , which the books authors tell me is based on the information delivery theory. You present the content in multiple ways so that the user can access the information in their preferred way.
