We’ve been building a lot of eLearning Flash templates lately and I started to think what I’ve learned that I might be able to share. Lots of people like to use templates to start a project. Here’s attempt number two… Our team shares a cptx file that we use as a course “template” – it’s not a Captivate template file type, however. Any time we go to create a new course, we pull this common cptx from our controlled documents library, paste in our new slides, author the simulations, etc.,

No support for loading videos in case if the template library doesn’t have a video based template. Test on actual environment – environment is the combination of hosting server and end user’s machine. While developing the player it’s important to test it in the actual environment with dummy assets and content.
