Photoshop is, of course, the undisputed king for this kind of work, but it might not be your best choice for several reasons. But the real reason is that unless you’re doing heavy photo and design work, Photoshop is probably overkill for your humble content editing needs (mainly cropping, resizing, making small adjustments, etc).

Cubase 4: Music is my original love and I've spent 1000s of hours with Cubase, one of the world's most popular sequencers and digital audio workstations. It also works on Macs, which some of my friends use, except theirs keep crashing (yah, boo, sucks!). It looks so cool it was definitely worth upgrading from Photoshop Elements.

Besides Outlook and Photoshop, together they’re the two most important business tools I use on a daily basis. Back then, a big part of what we did was making books and magazines that contained lots of screen captures of this new thing called the Web and we had to show images of the “browser” software we were using on our Macs.
