It has long been known that we can add Flash video and interactive swf content into Captivate, but doing so is not as simple as we would like, and there is no easy way to communicate data between the imported content and the host Captivate movie. Widgets are specially formatted Flash swf files that know how to communicate with the host Captivate project. Alternatively PowerPoint files can be linked, so that edits to the source PPT file are reflected in the Captivate project.
