Devlearn conference 2011: retrospective

For easygenerator it was an important conference too. I knew the phenomenon being a user of the sites of Jay Cross and Tony Karrer but up till now I wasn’t really aware of the strategic impact. I’m even considering adding support for the agile process to easygenerator. Confirmation. I hope it catches on. LINGOs 3.0.

What did 100 blog posts bring me?

That of course is nothing in the greater scheme of things, but it is much more than the average visits that I had in 2010 (7 views per day) and 2011 (37 views per day). The first time I used my blog for this purpose was when I became CEO of easygenerator. In 2011 I was asked to contribute to the ASTD’s blog Learning Circuit.

Don’t be discourged by their web site – it isn’t ideal, but the product is cool. 8 Composica 4.0 - A winner in my book back in 2010 and still solid in 2011. 5 easyGenerator – You can read a review of their last version on this blog. I loved it in 2010 and my love is still there, in 2011.

Authoring Tools- The DevLearn Experience

Sending it out – via e-mail, zipped via e-mail (and some of the folks can’t figure out how to unzip it), mail it (yes, even in 2011) or hand deliver/deliver it via your company’s pickup. easygenerator’s new survey tool is SurveyMonkey. Then you have to contact them – which is a nightmare in of itself.
