I include Learning Portals, LCMSs, as part of the mix. Big Dog (Saba, SumTotal, Plateau, Cornerstone OnDemand, Learn.com). That said, across the board for all Big Dog systems, their social learning functionality was weak. Saba does a good job as well. Social Learning is limited. Categories. Big Dog LMS.

A trend that is happening in the LMS market more so than in the other e-learning markets, is the failure to follow their path of success. In 2011, the trend is showing that those days are gone. Buyers and Sellers of courses who can then use the course in any learning management system, so they are not tied to one LMS, is happening.
