You recorded the screen, could change the screen size – as in full capture, a part, window, etc. Ability to add basic transitional effects – for those that want to use it . Another issue I have with many vendors who offer effects – again, I like that – is that they fail to mention.

Interestingly, a large portion of LMS vendors have not optimized their products for the iPad/ iPad2 and with the exception of two content authoring tools, HTML5 capabilities, specifically the ability to output a course in HTML5 does not yet exist. Editing/Adding Effects/Manipulating. 57% Online gaming . 11% Other .

But, the reason I constantly bash this into e-learning vendors heads is this just DON’T GET IT. They just do not see the benefit nor value – NOW – of having their products available to be used effectively and optimized for consumer slate tablets, aka “tablets&#. Oh, yeah, social learning.

The note of interest is that it is occurring with all size of vendors, albeit the charge is being led by mid size vendors. Not all of the big dog vendors have entered this space, despite it being a huge revenue opportunity. That is expected to change. Another trend – ability to make changes in a more quick fashion.
