I will go thru several areas for e-learning, not just learning systems, although by far, it will be the most, since a lot has happened in 2020. . I am a personal fan of Questionmark, which is in the latter group, but the UI needs a major update ( I am told it is on their roadmap for 2021). You desire that?

Can it be used as an outlet for providing learning? I use Twitter, but there is no way, I see it as a learning tool. Higher education where social media tools could be utilized for their students. But HE has a very poor track record of using them when it comes to mobile learning. Questionmark – Assessment tool.

There are some good ones out there, and from a learning system standpoint some vendors in the B2B/B2C market are adding this capability. One e-learning vendor who has as part of their assessment solutions has an online proctoring component is Questionmark. They can integrate with any learning system out there.

I love Questionmark, its a wonderful product and it can use a “connector” to integrate into your learning platform or system. Again, you can find them in most learning systems and even some authoring tools. They equally match the survey tools, and for some systems their survey tool is better.

Assessment tools including Online Testing Tools (even online proctoring) (ProProfs, ClassMarker, Questionmark). Learning Engagement Platforms (Degreed). Web conferencing tools (aka virtual learning classrooms, webinars). Learning Record Stores. Some vendors have them built into their learning system.

While there were some things that made me think, uh oh, for the most part it has potential – especially in the education/academia space – for the online components, not ILT. Yes they offer some features for free, but the paid version looks exactly like any other social learning system that uses the FB like page.
