This week we looked at Social Networks. Here are some thoughts on this topic, especially thoughts around social networks for learning. Starting with Social Networking was a blessing and a curse. Social networks have a tendency to be a bit messy.

I saw Henry Jenkins speak at the eLearningGuild's Annual Gathering and I must confess that I was a bit critical. In other words, in a world with Wikipedia, blogs, social networking, etc. - So, I am very glad that George pointed me back here, because this gets into exactly what I was hoping for from him.

presentation were much more sophisticated that audiences at ASTD, ISPI and even the eLearningGuild. Social Bookmarking and Wikis and Blogs are a form of social networking I never said this, but several people pointed it out in the chat. I certainly talk about a big part of the value of blogs being building a network.
