I admit that in general I have been underwhelmed in the past with Saba. So, when I went and checked out Saba Social, Saba’s new social learning platform, I had very low expectations. Over 25 different social media types and Saba Social sticks with the ones everyone always sees – WHY?

Social Learning – must have social learning functionality beyond just the standards FB like page, microblog, RSS feed, upload video, follow me thing, these are systems that either advertise themselves as SLMSs or have a significant strong set of SL features.

If you are seeking a system that is a mash-up of useful business tools with a strong LMS, than this is a system to examine. Their ideal market honestly is education, but they as many other VLPs have realized that corporate is a delicacy that cannot be passed up. Well, that’s good because I just made it up.
