When I present the concept, I talk about sorting a mug full of pens and pencils. You can sort it pens, markers, pencils. Regardless, youre still working with the same set of pens, and the fat red marker has individual attributes, but some commonalities with markers, red and fat items. You can sort it red, black, blue and other.

10) Paper Call me old school, but I still like to take notes with pen and paper. Its inexpensive, easy to use, customizable, and sends email notifications when bugs come in and when they get resolved. I carry a composition book around with me most of the time to record meeting notes, brainstorm, jot down other peoples great ideas, and doodle.

Each pen, while it may have commonalities with others, is still unique. Ditto with people. They share common traits in the way they learn, and learning style theories show that. #2
