An earlier post on this blog offers Adobe Captivate Example Courses for download. Toward the end of that post is a quick mention and “how to” on Captivate’s text-to-speech functionality. From the resulting dialog, select the Text-to-Speech button. Then in the left-side pane, click Text to Speech.

This is how you start to think about voice characters after listening to them through text to speech synthesizers (TTS). We’ve had several queries on our Forums on installing the new and text-to-speech voices. Smitha, our documentation lead, has written a detailed blog post on the steps to be followed for downloading and installing the text to speech voices in Captivate (both NeoSpeech and Loquendo voices are covered).
