While this has been happening for quite a few years now, my “greater increase” comes in terms of the analytical data that can be extracted from assessment results. Robust data analytics – which is ideal. Most tend to be proprietary, but I have seen a few that are SCORM/AICC and yes even PENS. Podcast Mania.

What I am finding is that AICC is nearly gone in the LEP space (as it is with LMSs too), so if I was you, I’d seek SCORM, SCORM 1.2, Don’t worry though, I have that feature in Reports/Analytics ( time tracking). Content can include music or podcasts tied to audio sources show as Spotify, Apple Music, Audible, etc.

Hundreds of learning platforms use Rustici Engine as the embedded content player in their LMS, LXP, HCMS, TMS, gamification platform, HR system or custom training application to handle SCORM, AICC, xAPI and cmi5 content their customers use. If you base the factors of Prime, the CEO’s previous company, and growth of LEP, I’d go first towards a LinkedIn Learning Model, with the difference being extensive number of assets, learning resources (articles, ebooks (big), templates, assets, videos, podcasts, etc.) and variance of course providers. I support that. .
