Had a great time last week in Indianapolis presenting to the Central Indiana ASTD chapter. So I had time to kill and decided to pull together a free elearning template for the blog readers. Create in PowerPoint and then save the images as graphic files. But adding an image, like a wood panel in this demo, looks really nice.

Creating the avatar is simply a matter of uploading an image and then applying the settings so that the mouth and eyes are detected. Considering how fast it converts the images to speaking avatars, I’m pretty impressed with the overall quality. Instead of a static image, you have a talking head. Create an Animated Avatar.

Scale the image after you stretch it. Or use a color filter to recolor the image and you end up with something that looks different.

You don’t need to be a graphics artist, but you should know the difference between a bitmap and vector image because they play a role in the quality of what you see on the screen. The ones that get pixelated are bitmap images. When you scale the image, you’re scaling the pixel. When you scale the image, you’re scaling the pixel.

Start by selecting the clip art image, ungrouping it, and making the customizations you need. I also like to save the new image as a.png. In earlier posts, I’ve shared how to ungroup clip art to create your own images. Then, save it as an image file (preferably.PNG). After you save it as an image, you can apply a filter to it. In this case, we’re looking at filters that convert the image to something hand drawn. Feel free to use it as you wish.
