I have seen continued interest and downloads for open source AR tool kits. They plan on launching a version next year on smartphones. GestureTek develops motion control for tablets, e-readers, smartphones and televisions. Expect a few commercial vendors to jump into the augmented reality space for e-learning.

Equally horrible, is that some companies are still using old versions of IE or an outdated computer system with Windows 2000 on it. Some vendors are providing some widgets are part of their system, and then customers can go onto the web and locate widgets to add or more often than not, create their own. They won’t.
