Captivate 2017 added a new workflow for developing responsive projects: Fluid Boxes. It doesn’t mean that the existing workflows to make projects accessible with all devices are no longer important. If you want to publish a project to be accessible from any device, you have to ignore the still available Captivate SWF output!

When using the Submit All feature for a quiz, up till now it was not possible to localize this popup dialog box (style can be changed using the Object Style Manager): In Captivate 2017, the dialog box whidh appears when you click the option ‘Submit All Messages in Quiz, Preferences has all you need to localize everything.

When the file is created, those slides are automatically hidden and have a “Marked for Undo” text caption over them. If you decide to keep them, you can just unhide the slide and delete the text caption. There are several new features for project skin elements. This would be useful if you have a very small movie size.

Assign the slide number that the movie should move to before pausing. Control the movie’s volume. Go to the next slide. Set 1 to jump to next slide. Set 1 to jump to next slide. Pause the movie. Go to the previous slide. Set 1 to jump to previous slide. Resume playing the movie.
