SnagIt - Extremely helpful when making software sims or getting screenshots for courses.

Camtasia (probably the best tool for this goal) and Snagit are also alternatives, but there are a lot more available. Workflow 3: Software simulations. At this moment the biggest problem with software simulations are the slides which cannot be interactive because they show mouse movements/scrolling/dragging.

Can build very cool simulations that are interactive and engaging. I will say I used to be a big fan of SnagIt but no more. This is somewhat okay a lot different than going to say a boutique custom course development shop or a course development shop. Ability to create game based learning including courses on mobile devices.
