That said, Im a little concerned that the gamer mentality is sometimes presented as important to corporate culture and that as a result women should get into gaming. Im a bit of an über a-hole when it comes to stereotypical representations - the giggly "girl" (which is the name of this episode) just lights my match. Which is correct?

Im a linear reader in recovery and have been actively learning how to skim books and not feel guilty about it. Im not sure if the SME was reading a script, reading the notes, or just speaking from the heart. Im not sure how this relates to danah boyds recent blog article on Viewing American class divisions through FaceBook and MySpace. Im a major geek, yet I avoid Second Life and continue to be skeptical about its use in elearning. I associate that style with video games and super-hero comics, which continue to be mostly "guy" things.
