The pre-built templates provide a way to quickly assemble an interaction or presentation segment and publish it to a Flash (.swf) swf) format. You can use Raptivity to create a stand-alone course or you can import the published file into another tool, like Articulate Presenter or Captivate.

Adobe Captivate - The course will contain many "try me" sims for a software upgrade in which we are implementing. I am developing these in Captivate, which in my opinion is the best out there for creating software sims. In this case I will take my Flash course and import the SWF to the first page of Articulate Presenter.

In reality, it is simply a single compressed file containing all the files (html, images, flash swf, etc) necessary for the SCO to function. Going back to our wall socket analogy, imagine that the content package is the box in which the toaster is packed and transported.
