Based on my post LMS RFP , I've been asked several times if I knew where you could find samples of Request for Proposals (RFPs) for custom eLearning development, performance support tools, learning content management systems (LCMS), elearning authoring tools , etc.... If you string these together in Google, you will find documents that give you suggestions what go in RFPs as well as actual RFPs that people have on the web. You have to scan down a bit, but it's well worth the effort.

I'm trying to help someone inside training at a large organization bridge what I talk about around eLearning 2.0 to their implementation of SharePoint. I'd like to find good examples of what other people have done with SharePoint in their organization. Can you help me find those examples or connect me with people in training organizations who are making use of SharePoint? If you'd prefer - feel free to connect with me via email: akarrer@techempower.

The primary reasons for doing the eLearning Tour was that it is hard to see examples of what is being done by fellow eLearning professionals and get a sense of the patterns that exist. As part of pulling together the tour, I asked for contributions from this blog and from Learn Trends. I received quite a few responses. Far more than I could accommodate. And while I believe that I gave a flavor of what's happening out there through the tour, my gut tells me that it would be helpful to capture more examples.

One of the things that has always been somewhat surprising to me is that there seem to be relatively few examples of different kinds of eLearning available out there. So, this month I wanted to ask a slightly different kind of question that hopefully can produce something of value. The Big Question is... Where are the Examples of eLearning? Please answer this question by posting to your own blog or commenting on this post. (For further help in how to participate via blog posts, see the side bar.

This month the question is "Where are the Examples of eLearning?" and we are supposed to consider both good and bad examples as well as give some thoughts on why the example should get some attention.... They are not really exciting or very interactive. Here is an example called Principles of Watershed Management . You can see an entire list of courses at the Introductory Page . Here is one sponsored by the Food and Drug Administration called Tour of the FDA .
