Of course training in itself is not on its own going to produce the type oif culture change that we are looking for and so at each session I request a topic that will be used, which I am starting to follow up on with a one-to-one session, to assist with both technical and design issues.

Without wishing to invoke any comments about my deeper understanding of the term, really its 'learning culture' that is very much at issue here, or for that matter what is very often the lack of it. Of course its not the technology at all that we need to make a case for really is it.

XBOX on the syllabus

The suggestion is that our pop cultures game playing has contributed to our ability in managing rising complexity and cognitive demands. In fact my interest in games has taken an upward leap after discovering the Sleeper Curve in Steven Johnson’s book ‘Everything bad is good for you’ ( I can recommend it).
