Works even when offline. Text to Speech, Automatic Voice Recognition, Audio Social Learning. Tired of having to type to post comments in social learning solutions, what about on discussion boards or forums? Synchronous based learning which has limitations and sometimes passive learning, now becomes active learning.

I surmise that many of you do this, at least with photographs, whether it be offline (downloaded software) or online. Look at the e-learning market and ask yourself, if the consumer market as a whole is using this, why wouldn’t vendors in our space follow suit? 62% Voice enabled. 35% Touch free gesturing.

Features include: branching, assessment tool, convert slide notes to computer-generated audio via text-to-speech converter (11 voices/accents according to Brainshark), skinned, send links to access courses via social media, output to MP4, certificates and SCORM. Also no offline/online synch unless via a LMS (which supports it).

The authoring tool vendors will say their products are for everyone. It’s free.

I have those every weekend, so why as an adult learner do I want it as a benefit to learning? Another one on the rise for LMS vendors and honestly, e-learning vendors as a whole. Speaking of which, Trend 3 Online/Offline synch. Anyway it is a trend and may the force of lists be with you. or earlier.

If you have a Gmail account, you can sign up for free to use Google Voice. So, if you do not want to go the Skype route, you have your Gmail account open, the Voice add-on – instant dl and install; people can text you if they have Gmail or call you via Voice. It appears in the SAAS model with some small dog LMS vendors.
