Rapid e-learning is swimming in too small a pond

I attended the panel discussion on 'the future of rapid e-learning tools' at the eLearning Guild's Annual Gathering in Boston today with a misunderstanding. After all, LTI Magazine defined raid e-learning as "courseware (live or self-paced) developed in less than three weeks, where SMEs act as the primary development resource".
