Getting back to being unaware, I find the same issue with a few vendors in the learning system space who are really LXPs, but have no idea. The difference here though, is that those two vendors specifically, really had ZERO idea where they slid into. Here is why it is a bad idea. However, that is for another post.

The whole idea of if you build it they will come, isn’t true. Plenty of sites will fill your mind with the above garbage and get you to sit back and relax. Plenty of social community sites out there with some analytics and cheaper than an LMS. Think of selling it – you are selling the idea to your user base.
