The new iSpring Pro 7 – currently in beta adds additional powerhouse features, including PPT to HTML5 output (which right now is a standalone product). #8 While their Slideshark app for the iPad is nifty, it is not the only product that showcases PPT and is free. Yeah it is another PPT spin product but does stand out. #5

Surprised at the low number of LMS vendors here. Offers two products – one is a stand alone platform, the other is a stand alone product – you can integrate the video into your own LMS/ l earning Platform. For PPT lovers, you can synch video files with PPT with drag and drop. Really shocking. SaaS based.

They see an opportunity in the SMB space where customers may not want to purchase an ERP for HR or a full blown HRIS and then purchase or have a LMS. For consumers who are worried about these systems being hacked, I have yet to hear of a SaaS LMS being hacked. OpenText purchased Operital, a LMS based in Australia.

Feature sets – they have to be more than PPT to Flash or add an audio clip and video clip to the course. Mobile Learning/HTML5 output – doesn’t hurt and has to be considered. I’m hopeful that more will join in (as they are doing on my new LMS directory – coming soon).
