Some large corporation, maybe Microsoft, will buy Adobe. This will include better search functions, a mobile app that actually works (yes, I went there), and a TweetChat style app (increasing its ability to function as a social learning tool). We will begin to see more growth of Adobe AIR , including uses in e-learning.

Johns Hopkins HealthCare began transitioning staff to Microsoft Office 2010 applications in February 2010. Adobe Flash, Adobe Captivate, Articulate Presenter, Articulate Quizmaker, Microsoft Office 2010. Note: Microsoft Office 2010 was used to the extent that it was the subject of the sims, job aids, etc., I know to some it may seem insane to use so many tools, but with so many different aspects of the course it did require these tools to get this project done. I was surprised to read that Microsoft's Silverlight can be a formidable competitor for Adobe's new venture. Plus, Microsoft already has a presence in many of our living rooms via devices like the Xbox 360, which can stream videos to TVs. I am sure there will be much more news to come when these Flash enabled TVs hit the stores.
