Are there any downsides to using Yammer? When Yammer doesn't work. It's not Yammer's fault when it doesn't work. The main reason Yammer doesn't live up to expectations is cultural. The plugin adds a Yammer pane inside the Outlook window, integrating Yammer with one of the most used application in the enterprise.
