Jesse saw a post where I pointed to slides from a recent presentation and he commented: A PPT slide deck is a horrible way to convey anything significant. How about a link to audio, or better yet something like an Articulate Presenter or Breeze presentation that combines the audio and the slide deck?

For example, in 2007 PowerPoint to eLearning Shootout they compared: Articulate www.articulate.com Atlantic Link www.atlantic-link.co.uk Of course, they were more looking at PPT conversion tools. Most of these fit into the PowerPoint + Audio and most convert to Flash for delivery. Still, it's a resource worth looking at.

This time it is succeeding because of the price, the voice quality, and the integration with PPT. It offers a significant advantage over other methods of providing audio with PowerPoint. But instead of recording themselves against the slides, they used TTS. I think it will only get better with time.
