About two weeks ago Captivate 10, now labeled Captivate 2017 was released. In Captivate 2017 this is no longer necessary, thanks to the Adobe team! Just one pretty easy example: create a countdown animation by combining a counter variable, a while loop, an effect and that Delay command. That slide is using the new While loop.

Using Fluid Box Fill for eye-catching content in Captivate 2017

Download the sample project here to try it yourself and follow along: Fill_In_Fluid_Boxes.cptx. Think of a Fluid Box in Captivate 2017 as a logical container, used to layout objects and content across any range of devices. Simply select a Fluid box on your slide, click on the “Options” tab in the PI, and apply a Fill of your choice.
