While I cannot say who they are, there are a couple LMS vendors that are ripe for acquisition, and it wouldn’t be a shock to see them in new hands by Q2 2011.

Offers Lectora (rapid content authoring tool) as a separate option which can integrate with GeoMaestro. Social Learning add on module – Not a lot for what you get at an additional cost. It is truly amazing on how vendors seem to think lots of stuff on the page, is the way to go and navigation is just a requirement.

As the evolution of e-learning continues, the rapid content authoring tools (RCAT) market follows suit. This is a growing market with new vendors showing up, but at the same time, others disappearing. It was difficult to say the least and learning it wasn’t much easier. 43 Vendors do not have one.

Because if you are using a content authoring tool that is SCORM 2004, then you must find a system that is at least 2004. Your tool will not work with a 1.2.
