I’ll be the first to admit, that I was not a big fan of the previous versions of the Plateau system. After viewing the Plateau TMS, my concerns in one area have been eliminated, in others, not so much. Plateau LMS is a Talent Management System, made up of four modules. Plateau Learning. Plateau Performance.

For example, many people in L&D spend a lot of their time creating or delivering software training, and I believe that much of that will go away as AI replaces some of the more routine software jobs or makes software training something that can be created by AI without an instructional designer.

A lot of great products out there this year, new updates and latest versions; new companies, new services and just some real innovation. Big Dog (Saba, SumTotal, Plateau, Cornerstone OnDemand, Learn.com). Learn.com offered some robust SL capabilities, but you have to pay for one of their premium versions to have it. Categories.

One competitor purchased a VLP as a key component, SAP purchased SuccessFactors, a recruiting system initially turned HCM, who had acquired Plateau, a strong but awful UI/UX LMS. SuccessFactors constantly stated they would invest heavily into Plateau and initially, vast improvement was to be found.

They offer a SaaS version, but that is fee based. They have a freebie version which has an appropriate number of feature sets, then they have paid versions for individual and organization. Plateau is now called SuccessFactors. They are in no particular order. Instructure – Canvas CV – Wow. Blackboard.
