Will xAPI be the one standard that is “the” standard? What about pesky SCORM? At one time, you could be “certified” with AICC and yes certified with SCORM, but why would you want to be? I have mixed feelings on SCORM. Plenty, plenty of people who go SCORM and nothing else. . to add xAPI.

Welcome to 2016. At least SCORM support – Plenty still support AICC. Only a few support PENS, which is a shame, because it really does some very cool things. xAPI support – Hit the gas this is flying fast. How about adding an xAPI checker or something along those lines? Output to HTML5.

Whether they are brand new for 2019, or been around since 2016, not a factor. The one downer to the entire system, and one I have repeatedly told them is a bad idea, is that it is only xAPI for content. The only standards it does not work with is PENS and CMI-5). Accepts most course standards including SCORM.

Has at least one course standard (Standards : SCORM, SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004 3rd edition, SCORM 2004 4th edition, AICC, PENS, xAPI, CMI-5). Do you convert the video to SCORM 1.2 Next week, I’m in London, but the post will be on the “Top 10 Authoring Tools for 2016” .
