The portal may be part of an organization-wide effort to provide access to all HR services and company information through one home page. Used in this way, portal technology increases the efficiency of the LMS.

Encore – Moodle: Pros, Challenges

Or do they just drop the word, “social media&# , and rather say, “social learning and web 2.0″?
