only, and all your stuff is in AICC. What data can I as the person overseeing the learning or training at my company, see that will tell me really what is going on? Cornerstone CBX $$$ – Okay, on their web site it is listed as Cornerstone LMS. Ditto when you buy a system that is SCORM 1.2 You want, batch upload.

Plus, if they system accepts other SCORM types or AICC or xAPI, you will never see those mentioned or listed. There are companies who will do this, even for their own employees. Cornerstone for example, won’t – they should, but that is another story. This goes into the back-end too. And their are bad apples too.

LMS – Learning Management System, Learning System (which for some companies tries to spin it as something new and magical and not like the LMS). The most well known vendor to use modules are Cornerstone OnDemand. As you are aware I am not a fan of AICC – useful in early 2000’s, but IMO not that useful today.

For example, we see terms now at the top like Learning Management System , AICC , SCORM. Take a look at the companies: Saba (28) GeoLearning (17) SumTotal (22) Meridian (9) Cornerstone (19) You notice the counts are out of order (not descending). 2010 2015 2011 2013 You can pretty much do this endlessly.

SCORM/AICC/PENS/IMS. Case in point: IMO one of the worst UI’s I have ever seen comes from Cornerstone OnDemand, which is quite popular. Q: Saba, SumTotal, Cornerstone, Taleo, SuccessFactors must be the best because a lot of people buy these systems. Facility management. Well Known Systems. Talent and Performance Mgt.
