Then again, I have yet to attend a show that offered soy milk, although one time a server actually brought in their own the next day for me – that person deserves a raise! The biggest knock on the show in previous years was that it was getting smaller with less vendors. Why as an e-learning vendor you should attend this show.

Subject matter experts are embracing the more sophisticated rapid e-learning tools which allow server side development with international collaboration and “instant&# course deployment. But, the reason I constantly bash this into e-learning vendors heads is this just DON’T GET IT. LMS vendors who are moving into the Talent Management Space. We offer social learning – in some cases true collaborative learning, even the possibility to work together on a project or a document in a space.

This year, I estimated a 55/60% e-learning, including some ILT vendors offering some type of e-learning component. . In all the years I have attended and have known about ATD (formally ASTD), this year is by far the most in terms of e-learning vendors, especially those in the LMS space.
