A voice should not just read screen text [Kapp] but can optionally be supported by running subtitles at the bottom of the slide as in Captivate and Speech-Over [Joel]. A great deal more information per slide can be transferred with voice than with plain text. Some examples: 1.

Most of these fit into the PowerPoint + Audio and most convert to Flash for delivery. We've used several different eLearning tools and so I'm hesitant to say which is best, but thought it would be worth providing a list of eLearning tools.

But instead of recording themselves against the slides, they used TTS. I don't have a particularly great voice for adding to the slide so that's a factor. of every other slide, recorded days or weeks or months earlier is invaluable. That way, you have a good idea what it will sound like once it’s recorded. Yes and more.

What Training Costs Part I: Converting Content from ILT to WBT How long does it take to create learning? Bryan says that while it takes 34 hours of work to create one hour of instructor-led training, it takes an additional 33 hours simply to convert the PowerPoint slides from this same training into e-learning. thank you!!
