You can import PowerPoint presentations into an existing Captivate project, or create a new Captivate project that uses the PowerPoint slides. During a standard PowerPoint import process, PowerPoint pptx presentations are first converted to the ppt format, and then converted to SWF.

It seems like the only thing I can pinpoint it to is adding Random Question slides linked to a pool of questions. It loads fine without the slides, but once I add 1 Random Question slide, it may or may not load, but it definitely won’t load once I add more than 1. I even tried changing the Preloader to 25% with no luck.

A second Issue im Having ist that suddenly, 2) my preview (full project) and published versions only show slides 1-10 and the rest of the slides (approx. Regarding 1): My project was originally created as a blank project and now I converted it into responsive. When i delete the.pdf,swf data from the zip, nothing will start.

I first thought this to be a limitation of HTML5 (first article was for SWF output) and tested it out. The demo file has two TEB’s on the second slide. On the last slide of the file you will see a Shape (rounded rectangle) which I converted to a Shape button. This is the link to the forum thread.

That allows you to add overlay content slides, KC slides and can also be combined in a cptx project with other content slides. I think about merging with 360 slides, real quiz slides, adding links to other assets etc. For the interactive video slides it is possible to create a menu for easy navigation.

I now have a problem where the formatting of my slides has changed substantially and now appear all over the place. This effects nearly every slide in the project.

Speaking of the guru awards, I was looking at the source files for the CPR demo and was impressed to see that it only contained twenty PowerPoint slides. Looking at it, I assumed that it had more slides and a few more bells and whistles. The first slide is a Flash animation and the CPR simulation was created in Quizmaker ‘09.

Video needs to be in the FLV format, but Articulate supplies a conversion tool just in case your video editing software doesn’t convert to FLV. Thank you, Articulate. I use this feature a lot.

One exception: embedded buttons on Quiz/Score slides cannot be shape buttons, so I use transparent buttons for those. VR project/360 slides. SVG as Button.
