They are an ERP system founded by the guy who started Peoplesoft and then eventually sold it to Oracle. LMS/LCMS/CMS Vendors. Even if you are not in the TM market, but you pitch that your system integrates well with ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle and Peoplesoft, I would want to start having meetings internally on Workday.

The trends apply to both LMS/LCMS vendors. Extended Enterprise - Vendors are expanding into the wholesaler/reseller/affiliates/sales agent sector with their solutions. The note of interest is that it is occurring with all size of vendors, albeit the charge is being led by mid size vendors.

The ones who may not are those who identify themselves as “Training mgt systems and alike” – because they are really focused on the course authoring tool and are not a LMS in the true sense of the word.
