I’ll be the first to admit, that I was not a big fan of the previous versions of the Plateau system. After viewing the Plateau TMS, my concerns in one area have been eliminated, in others, not so much. Plateau LMS is a Talent Management System, made up of four modules. Plateau Learning. Plateau Performance.

Some vendors use the words “VLE&# – but in a deeper dive, it is a LMS for them. Many vendors state “LMS&# , even though it comes with a content authoring tool and additional features – this is a trend. Vendors Reviewed. E-Learning 24/7. I was the ghost.

CBT Prior to online learning known then as WBT, and then the latter term of e-learning (vendors today, use it to refer to content that is online), there was CBT. CBT was the “new” and exciting way to learn. If you wanted micro-learning, you could do it. WBT (Web-Based Training).

Oracle then followed suit by acquiring SuccessFactors who had acquired Plateau in the past. Oracle in short fashion soon made an announcement that employee recruitment, training and management tools would merge with Fusion, which is a Human Capital management software.

Back in the days, the Plateau platform was ghastly awful. Jam – which is their social learning and collaboration tool.
