This has come just in time for mLearning implementers; there is a new tool out in Google Labs called Swiffy that let’s one convert flash animation (swf files) to a device independent HTML5. Simply put, this will allow existing libraries of flash animation content to be ported to devices that run iOS – iPhones, iPads, and iPods.

Google has recently added interactivity to YouTube videos called ‘Video Questions Editor Beta’, we are sure to see more interactivity coming in videos.

A Google search on ‘Apple iPad’ throws up an excess of 30 million results! Remember the ‘iPad Killer’ from Google is about to come and it will probably have multitasking. They will find movies, music, games, browsing, & online chatting all very cool to do on this device. Only time will tell.

Google Swiffy. You can add text and images with easy-to-use drag-and-drop feature and use multi-touch widgets to include interactive photo galleries, movies, keynote presentations, 3D objects, and lot more, and publish the eBook. Swiffy converts SWF files to HTML5. and ActionScript 3.0 code into HTML (though no Flash games yet).
