Sure, others may get involved (the usual case at a company), but there is still initially one person who thought of it. The person who saw the template potentially hit it out of the park. Someone came up with the idea of a LMS.

However, we often found out, who hated the food (if it was provided), the temp of the room (common complaint), how the person was dressed (I once saw a complaint over the tie of the trainer) and how was the trainer. Absolutely, but you the person overseeing the e-learning, had to take the data, and do it yourself. Informal was there.

I personally think what has hurt them in the greater market is the push by so many vendors (some of which are legit competitors) to refer to them as “traditional”, citing how long they have been around. Learn.com – First a content aggregator, then jumped into the LMS market, acquired by Taleo, who promised to invest heavily.

If a person is willing to learn about the reasons WBT was created and its benefits (i.e. The loser to all of this, is the person building the courses. The point of it all, is that for an ID person or e-learning developer person (background), there are few choices. My personal non-favs. Why is this an issue?

Attendance booth person is attentive – more than at most trade shows across the board, that I have been to. Taleo Learn - formally known as Learn.com. The Learn.com product was a very nice solution, but only if you purchased their enterprise with the required minimum number of seats and with all the add-ons that came with it.

When I was at LTUK a couple of weeks ago, a vendor who was giving a presentation, showed a slide with Learn.com on it, as though their tool worked with it or something like that, uh Learn.com hasn’t been around in like five plus years. SuccessFactors, Oracle and others are not. .
