I actually left Technorati for Google because Google appeared to be doing a better job. I want a nice clean RSS feed of any posts that include links to my various sites. I can't tell if this is something that is intentional, but it's been happening for a while. Time to evaluate my options? Any suggestions on what to use for this?

AideRSS looks at a variety of sources of information including comments, technorati, bloglines, icerocket and del.icio.us to determine what posts are generating the most interest. It provides a widget that allows you to show your top posts for month or year. You can see what it thinks are mine in the right column of the blog.

Furthermore, looking at some factors like Technorati ranking or number of visitors is sure to cause stress. While having greater reach (readership, visitors, etc.) is important to both factors, the direct link between the hard measures and what I care about is tenuous at best.

Consider if you wanted to track the Five Things Meme as it worked it's way through the blogosphere. Theoretically, Meme Tracking should help you be able to track this meme.
