Captivate 2019 has made the creation of interactive videos so much easier, and more flexible with the ability to set your cue points and attach a range of assets including quiz questions. I didn’t want to report to an LMS which was fortunate because that would have required major programming work.

I have been using Captivate 2019 on a Windows 7 i5 desktop. I recently installed Captivate 2019 on a Windows 10 i7 laptop. Installation went smoothly and Captivate starts up fine. Both desktop and laptop are 64-bit machines with 16Gb RAM running the same version of Captivate 2019. Still crashes.

I’ve found a “work around” with using a transparent button and program it to play the audio…for whatever reason, this works. My concern is we’re starting in Captivate 2019. (Please keep in mind that I’m an amateur developer ). I can’t insert transparent buttons on the VR screens.

I reported this issue in CP-2017 and I’m a bit surprised that this simple tweak was not made for CP-2019. Better and thicker with the panels detatched, but not when docked to the main CP program Window. Again, simple programming 101 stuff to fix. This is a simple fix that any programmer could do in minutes.
