SCORM’s premise, not what it can or cannot do, was its huge premise of interoperability—far more so than AICC. whose background is firmly in instructional design and technology. In the late 80s, AICC, the predecessor to SCORM, was born. Why would anyone still want to use AICC? vs SCORM 2004 as it was newer.
