Imagine being able to slide between an image of the rainforests 20 years ago and an image of what they’ll look like in another 20 years, for example. I can see this working incredibly well in a sustainability course. There’s a similar site showing satellite images of Japan before and after the quake and tsunami.

Another challenge is that most screencasts are recorded at a higher resolution than used in the elearning courses. And any time you scale a screencast down you’ll run into some image degradation.
