When I create presentations for our webinars or workshops, I like to use the imagery from our e-learning community or the Articulate website. If you need to collect images from your company site to use in your training this tip should help. Usually when I find an image, I right-click to save. There you go.

In a previous post, we looked at five free desktop image editors. If you do a search, you’ll find that there are a lot of online image editing products. In today’s post we’ll look at five very capable online image editors. Aviary has a few image editing tools and offers a pretty complete solution for most of what you need to do.

I was building a demo for a workshop and needed a few safety training images. Fortunately Microsoft has some decent images available on their site. Click here to get an image search box. Microsoft’s Services Agreement: I get a lot of questions about whether or not you can use the images. Search for “Style 401”.

With a rapid elearning tool, you’re using PowerPoint’s easy authoring environment to create Flash movies. Essentially, you’re creating Flash content without the requirement of learning to program Flash. Couple that with the branching features in your rapid elearning tool and you can create some pretty sophisticated multimedia.

Two things always stand out during these trips: There is no one way to do elearning. Some people build courses, some create marketing material, and some use the rapid elearning software to create multimedia information.
