From a vendor perspective there was a huge impact, but what was odd, is that some vendors still are living in the past, as though, this is a minor blip, and in 2021, everything will go back as it was – corporate wise that is. Two big aggregators of content folks can take, Coursera and Udemy made huge strides and sales.

A couple of weeks ago, a vendor in the micro-learning content space sent me a newsletter, where – wait for it. The spin that this was a new learning concept for successful content was erroneous.

Too many folks think charge high because the content is from us, and therefore we will make a lot of money. There are some good ones out there, and from a learning system standpoint some vendors in the B2B/B2C market are adding this capability. with a Table of Contents (you want success? A package can do wonders. .

Rapid content authoring tools (build courses – you build them). Assessment tools including Online Testing Tools (even online proctoring) (ProProfs, ClassMarker, Questionmark). Custom course/content shops (lots of them out there). More vendors entering the space then leaving it. Most folks are aware of.

With all these vendors talking about their solution and its capabilities on mobile devices, it should be easy to find an app for that. Regardless if the vendor is m-learning specific, content authoring tool, LMS, web conferencing or a hybrid. Nowadays more and more vendors (thankfully) are seeing the benefit of mobile devices.
