I don't know how I missed this, but thanks to Bill Ives for covering it on the FastForward blog - More Web 2.0 Stories, Part One: Cisco Goes All Out on Enterprise 2.0 This sounds similar to what Intel did with Intelpedia - which has been really great at providing support across a wide cross section of activities at Intel.
