A leader, at least in the early 2000s, Lectora is no longer part of Trivantis, because Trivantis the company was sold to eLearning Brothers (where Lectora now sits). Aggregators dominate – the top two are Open Sesame which uses machine learning, and GO1. Social Learning is not that great. I say no more. .

We need a way to make it social. If you are familiar with JavaScript and feel adventurous you can adapt this to work for Captivate, Lectora, HTML5, etc. Open the JavaScript file. This trigger could be on a button, when a slide starts, etc. But where to begin? It is not enough just to add a game to your course.

Lectora’s Snap! Lectora Snap! Empower on the other hand does work, since it is a self-contained product and does not directly go into PowerPoint 2010 (but you can upload PowerPoint slides into it). Channel – of course if your company blocks all social media sites – I guess you are hitting the Snap!

The other day I was taking a look at Lectora Mobile, and found it is more an online authoring tool system with its focus on mobile deployment than say a true m-learning authoring tool.
